The Service Team Behind the Riders
The cyclists don’t make the journey to Paris alone. Behind each team is a support crew that keeps the days running smoothly, maintains an overview, and lends a helping hand whenever it’s needed.
As part of the service team, you will travel with the team all the way to Paris.
You can help prepare the rest stops, provide food and drinks, assist with the route, lubricate chains, change tires, and step in when small or large tasks arise along the way.
As a support person, you are an integral part of the team, on equal footing with everyone else. You contribute with oversight, encouragement, and positivity, helping to create a journey that everyone will remember long after they return home.

To become part of the service team at Team Rynkeby, you need to submit an online application. The application process is the same as for the cyclists, and you will be assigned to a local team in your area.
The local team's management group and service coordinators will assemble a team with diverse skills. We are looking for drivers, mechanics, chefs, masseurs, and healthcare professionals, but most importantly, we need you to have the desire to contribute to the team and our common mission.
In your application, please share what you can contribute and how your experiences can be utilized in the practical work surrounding the journey to Paris.
We place great importance on your motivation to be part of Team Rynkeby and support the fundraising for children with critical illnesses. As a service person, you will play a vital role in our community, so it is essential that you are eager to collaborate, take responsibility, and bring positive energy, even when the days are long.
Even if you are not cycling to Paris yourself, you are still part of the team. Therefore, you should expect to participate in social events, information meetings, and preparations throughout the winter and spring.
Participation as a service person is based on self-funding. For the 2027 season, the cost for service personnel is 4,400 DKK, which covers hotel accommodations and meals during the trip to Paris.
Additionally, you will be responsible for your official Team Rynkeby service clothing, as well as transportation to the team's starting point and your return journey from France. You should typically expect a few thousand kroner in additional expenses.
