Our Core Values
The Committed Community
Team Rynkeby is a community you join, but also a community you commit to.
We come together with different experiences, roles, and reasons for being part of this journey. Some join for the training, some for the friendships, some for the cause, and many discover along the way that it all connects.
We take on the tasks that get the team to the finish line, even when they aren’t necessarily at the top of our wish lists. A team doesn’t become strong on its own. It grows stronger when we take responsibility for one another and for the shared project.
Our values are about how we interact with one another in practice. They are felt when we keep our commitments, speak kindly to each other, and support the decisions we make together. They are felt when we share experiences with new participants, listen to feedback, and are brave enough to seek advice from others, because we know that Team Rynkeby becomes stronger when we learn from each other.
We understand that a season demands a lot. There is training, planning, sponsorship work, events, and many practical tasks to be completed. That’s why we need a common foundation that reminds us of why we do this.
The values help us care for Team Rynkeby, for the community, and for the cause we support. They remind us that success is created by riders, helpers, sponsors, former participants, and local forces lifting together.
This is how we build a strong season. A strong team. And a Team Rynkeby that year after year can cycle in support of children with critical illnesses.
